Circus Performance

The Chisinau Circus Performance was a circus parade and reenactment through the streets of Chisinau that ended at the abandoned Chisinau Circus, an amazing circular modernist building that had sat vacant since 2004 but was once a lively cultural venue.

We created costumes based on the murals inside the building and were gifted two large heads from the state puppetry makers, which we turned into a tiger and an elephant. We were followed by Armenian TV, whose footage can be seen below.
